Loppu - Fini - Nothing left

Onpas tyytyväinen mieli, kun sain yhden ylimääräisen lankakerän käytetyksi kokonaan. Uusi ympyräkaulahuivi tuli vähän liiankin nopeasti valmiiksi. Ohjeen mukaan se olisi pitänyt tehdä korkeammaksi, mutta ihan tarpeeksi korkea se on noinkin, eikö? Tykkään kaikesta yksinkertaisen tyylikkäästä, ja tämä on nyt taas sarjassamme sellaisia.

Täytyypä näyttää, mitä alunperin tein tuosta samasta langasta. Tein miehen siskon tytölle vauvahaalarin, joita tuli lopulta kaksi. Ensimmäinen meni nukelle, kun ohjeessa vartalo-osa oli liian lyhyt. Sille piti lisätä pituutta melkein 15 cm, jotta siitä tuli järkevänmittainen. Ensimmäinen susiversio meni nukelle, mutta tästä toisesta tulikin sitten aivan ihana. Olen edelleen siitä ylpeä, ja vielä iloisemmaksi tulin eilen, kun sain sen taas uudelleen käsiini valokuvattavaksi.

Ce que je suis contente d'avoir fini complètement une pelote supplémentaire ! J'ai achevé la nouvelle écharpe circulaire même un peu trop vite. Selon le modèle, elle aurait dû devenir plus haute, mais à mon avis ça va, non? J'aime bien tout ce qui est simple et cette écharpe fait partie de cette catégorie.


Il faut que je vous montre pour quel but j'ai acheté de ce fil en premier lieu. C'était pour tricoter une combinaison pour la nouvelle-née de ma belle-soeur. Enfin j'en ai fait deux parce qu'il y avait une faute dans les instructions : j'ai dû ajouter environ 15 cm pour le torse. Bon, la "chiotte" allait bien pour une poupée, mais la deuxième version était absolument adorable. J'en suis toujours fière et ça m'a fait vraiment plaisir quand j'ai hier pu l'a voir à nouveau pour la photographier.

I'm so happy to have managed to use all of the extra skein I had. I fell though that I finished almost too quickly this new circular scarf. According to the instructions it should have been many rows higher but I think it's high enough, isn't it? I like so much everything that is simple and stylish and this scarf belongs to that category.


I have to show you why I originally bought this yarn. I knitted a baby overall to my sister-in-law's daughter. In fact, I made two of them because there was some kind of mistake in the instructions. The torso became about 15 cm too short, so the first one fitted best for a doll, but the second overall was just lovely. I'm still proud of it and became even happier when I could again feel it in my hands yesterday and take some photos of it.
