Lego-palikan maassa - Dans le pays de la brique Lego - In the land of Lego brick

Kun mies on lomalla, tuntuu, että olemme koko ajan lennossa jossain. Nyt ollaan pari päivää kotona, kunnes taas pakataan vastapuretut kassit ja taas mennään.

Olimme juuri kuusi päivää Tanskassa, jonne matkaaminen kestää, jos menee omalla autolla - ensin laivaan yöksi ja seuraava päivä autossa kärvistelyä Etelä-Ruotsin läpi. Kokeiltiin valtavaa Öresundin siltaa ja tunnelia Malmöstä suoraan Kööpenhaminaan. Se oli sen väärtti, harmitti vain, että sillalla piti posottaa niin lujaa (110 km/h). Eihän siinä ehtinyt ihailla merimaisemia, eikä sieltä tosin tavallisesta henkilöautosta paljoa näkynytkään. Takasin tullessa lähinnä pelotti, kun satoi ja tuuli niin lujaa.

Itse olen ollut Köpiksessä monesti ja aina olen tykännyt sikäläisestä elämänmenosta ja ilmapiiristä. Pohjolan Italiaksi kuulemma kutsutaan, enkä ihmettele. Saimme majailla miehen kaverin asunnossa, mikä oli ihanaa, ja hän päivitti kivasti meidän Tanska-tietouttamme kahdeksan vuoden kokemuksella.

Pikkulapsi mukana kaikki tekeminen sijoittuu päivään. Eka päivä oltiin Kööpenhaminan hienossa eläintarhassa, jossa itse vaikutuin eniten norsuista, kirahveista ja sarvikuonoista.

Seuraava päivä käveltiin mm. vanhan Carlsbergin tehtaan miljöön ohi, kierrettiin vanha teurastamoalue nykyisenä trendipaikkana, nähtiin paljon merta kanaaleissa, hienoa nykyarkkitehtuuria, syötiin kulttuuritalon terassilla, kahviteltiin Michelinin suosittelemassa kahvilassa Strøgetin varrella, jossa nähtiin hieno valokuvanäyttely Euroopan luonnon ihmeistä, pakolliset kaljat joimme Nyhavnissa, naureskeltiin Amalienborgin linnan vartijoita, ihmeteltiin turisteja kiipeilemässä Pienen merenneidon päälle ja syötiin mahtavat tapakset ennen kuin palattiin junalla takaisin.

Maanantaina ajettiin noin 300 km päähän Vejbyhyn, jossa hotelliyövyttiin, mutta ennen sitä käytiin ilta pyörimässä Legolandissa 30 kilsan päässä. Lapset tykkäs. Kyllä minäkin niistä pienoiskaupungeista tykkäsin. Monenlaista uutta oli sitten viimekävemän.

Keskiviikkona kierrettiin vielä Köpistä, pidettiin sadetta Christianborgin palatsissa ja käytiin Christianiassa. Kummassakaan ei saanut ottaa kuvia, mutta linnassa se kiellettiin sivistyneesti, Christianiassa yritti aineissa oleva tyyppi ajaa ensin pyörällä päälle ja halusi tarkistaa ottamani kuvat, jottei niissä näy "heitä". Uhkasi viedä koko kameran, jos en ottaisi yhtä kuvista pois. No, se olikin ainoa aidan sisäpuolella otettu. Lasten kanssa moinen vastaanotto tuntui äärimmäisen ikävältä eikä koko paikassa näyttänyt sen jälkeen näkyvän yhtään kivanoloista ihmistä, joten lähdimme pois. Harmi, olin kuvitellut paikan olevan nykyään turisti- ja lapsiperheystävällisempi.

Torstaina poislähtiessä satoi kovasti. Itse asiassa satoi ja oli kylmä koko matkan välietappiin Örebrohun, jossa vanha ystäväni perheineen asuu. Kyllä oli ilo suuri, kun yli kymmenen vuoden jälkeen taas tavattiin ja saatiin tutustua toistemme perheisiin, joita ei vielä viimeksi nähdessämme ollut. Oli mukava lähteä sieltä kohti Tukholmaa, kun matkaa oli vain noin 250 km eikä ollut yhtään ryytynyt olo kuin usein hotelliyön jälkeen.

Lorsque mon mari est en vacances, j’ai le sentiment qu’on vole tout le temps quelque part. Maintenant on reste quelques jours à la maison jusqu’à ce qu’on paque les sacs qu’on vient de vider et voilà, en route à nouveau.

On vient de rester six jours au Danemark où aller dure si on prend la voiture – d’abord une nuit en bateau de Helsinki à Stockholm et après une toute journée en voiture traversant le sud de la Suède.  Au lieu de prendre la bateau entre Helsingborg et Helsingør, on a voulu essayer le pont énorme d’Öresund entre Malmö et Copenhague. Ça valait la peine, sauf il fallait conduire si vite, 110 km/h, qu’on n’a pas pu contempler la mer et dans la voiture on était si en bas qu’on n’a pas vu grande chose. Quand on est rentré, on avait plutôt peur, tellement il faisait du vent et pleuvait.

J’ai visité Copenhague plusieurs fois et j’ai toujours aimé son ambiance. On dit que le Danemark soit l’Italie du Nord de l’Europe et ça ne m’étonne pas. On avait la chance de rester chez une amie de mon mari qui habite au Danemark depuis huit ans et qui nous a mis au jour nos connaissances de ce pays.

Avec une petite enfant il faut faire tout pendant la journée. On a passé le premier jour au zoo magnifique de Copenhague où les animaux les plus impressionnants à mon avis étaient les elephants, les girafes et les rhinoceros.

Le lendemain, on s’est promené et on a passé par le milieu du vieux usine de Carlsberg (la bière), on a fait un tour d’une vielle enceinte d’abattoirs devenue récemment un quartier branché de cafés, de restaurants etc. On a vu pas mal de mer dans des canaux, de l’architecture moderne, déjeuné à la terrasse d’un centre culturel, pris des cafés et des gateaux dans un café recommandé par Michelin à Strøget (une rue piétonne connue) où on a aussi visité une expo de photos sur les merveilles de la nature européenne. Les bières obligatoires on a bu à Nyhavn, dans la cour du château d’Amalienborg on était amusés par les routines de ses gardiens, près de la statue de la Petite Sirène on était étonnés par les touristes (japonais) qui ont essayé de grimper sur la statue. Avant de rentrer en train on a mangé dans un restaurant de tapas.

Lundi on a conduit environ 300 km pour aller à Vejby où on a passé une nuit dans un hotel, mais avant de dormir nous sommes allés à Legoland qui se situe à 30 km de Vejby. Les enfants l’ont bien aimé. Moi aussi, j’ai bien aimé les villes miniatures. Il y avait pas mal de nouveau depuis ma dernière visite là-bas.

Mardi on est retourné à Copenhague par Odense.

Mercredi on a encore fait un tour de Copenhague. Pendant la pluit on a été au Palais de Christianborg et ensuite on est allé à Christiania. Dans tous les deux, il était interdit de prendre de photos mais au palais on en a informé d’une façon civilisée tandis qu’à Christiania un mec drogué a essayé de me faire renverser par un vélo et a voulu voir les photos que j’avais pris “pour qu’on ne peut pas les voir sur les photos”. Il a dit qu’il prendrait mon numérique si je n’enlève pas une des photos sur laquelle il a cru voir lui-même avec  ses copains. Bon, c’était la seule photo que j’avais pris à l’intérieur de ce quartier. Un tel accueil était extrémement désagréable surtout avec les enfants et après j’avais le sentiment qu’il n’y semblait être une seule personne ayant l’air gentil, alors on a continué ailleurs. C’était dommage, j’avais cru que cet endroit soit devenu plus accueillant pour les touristes et les familles.

Jeudi il pleuvait beaucoup quand on est parti pour la Suède. En fait, il pleuvait et il faisait froid toute la journée jusqu’à Örebro, où une de mes amies habite avec sa famille. On était heureuses de nous voir après plus de dix ans et de rencontrer nos familles qui n’existaient pas quand on s’est vues la fois dernière.  Le lendemain matin la route à Stockholm ne nous semblait pas du tout longue, seulement 250 km, et on était en pleine forme pour rentrer chez nous.

When my husband is having his holidays, we seem to be constantly on the move. Now we’ll stay a couple of days at home until we’ll pack again the bags we just unpacked and off we go.

We’ve just been six days in Denmark where it takes quite a while if you go by car – first one night in a ferry and the next day sitting more or less uncomfortably in a car through the Southern Sweden. We decided to try the huge bridge of Öresund from Malmö to Copenhagen instead of taking a ferry from Helsingborg to Helsingør. It was worth it even though it was not that much for enjoying the view since the speed limit was 110 km/h i.e. you had to drive fast. When we took it on our way back, it was rather frightening because the wind was blowing hard and it rained heavily.



Just arrived in Denmark.

I’ve been to Copenhagen many times and I’ve always liked its atmosphere. It’s said to be called Italy of Northern Europe, which doesn’t surprise me. We had the chance to stay in the apartment of a friend of my husband’s who has lived in Denmark for eight years now and she updated our knowledge about the country.

With a small child everything has to done during the day time. We spent the first day in the magnificent zoo of Copenhagen where I was most impressed by the elephants, giraffes and rhinos.

The next day we walked all day and passed by the old factory area of Carlsberg (beer) and an old area of abattoirs which nowadays is a trendy block of cafés and restaurants. We saw sea water in canals, great modern architecture, had lunch outside a cultural centre, coffee and cakes in a café by Strøget (a famous pedestrian street) where we also saw a splendid photo exposition about wonders of European nature. Then we had the obligatory beers at Nyhavn, in the courtyard of the castle of Amalienborg we had fun watching the routines of its guards. By the statue of the Little Mermaid we were amazed by the (Japanese) tourists who tried to climb the statue. Before taking a train back, we ate well in a tapas restaurant.

On Monday we drove about 300 km to Vejby where we stayed the night in a hotel but before that we drove 30 km to Legoland. The kids loved that. I also liked the miniature towns. There were a lot of new to see since I was last there.

On Tuesday we returned to Copenhagen by Odense.

On Wednesday we walked around Copenhagen again. While it rained we visited the Palace of Christianborg and after that Christiania. In both places it was forbidden to take photos but in the Palace it was done in a civilized way, at Christiania, however, a stoned guy tried to knock me over by his bike and wanted to check my camera that “none of them could be seen in the pictures”. He threatened to take my camera if I didn’t delete one of the pictures where he thought he had seen himself with his mates. Well, it was the only one I had taken inside the fences. With children such a reception felt extremely hostile and then it seemed there wasn’t anyone with a friendly face. So we went away. Too bad, I had thought the place would nowadays have been more tourist and family friendly.

When we were about to leave it rained heavily. In fact, it rained and it was cold the whole way through Sweden to Örebro where one of my old friends lives with her family. What a joy it was to see each other after more than ten years and to get to know each other’s families which didn’t even exist the last time we met. It felt so nice to head towards Stockholm next morning, it felt so close, only 250 km to drive, and we were in such a good mood after having been so warmly welcomed at their home.
